About Dawn

A teacher who invites students to explore, experiment, and create

With five years of experience teaching STEAM and computer skills, Dawn brings structure, warmth, and curiosity to every lesson. She helps students turn ideas into prototypes through engineering challenges, digital design, coding, robotics, and hands-on collaboration.

Her lessons blend science, technology, engineering, art, and math in ways that are engaging, approachable, and responsive to a wide range of learners. Previously, at Annunciation BVM School in Aurora, Illinois, she helped launch a makerspace-centered STEAM program that gave students regular opportunities to investigate, problem-solve, and share their work.
